RETURNS & REFUND POLICY Last Updated: May 14, 2026

At Our Beautiful World LLC, we uphold the highest standards of quality, transparency, and customer care. This policy is publicly accessible prior to purchase and governs all transactions made through ourbeautifulworldllc.com. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth herein.


I. THE RETURN STANDARD & CONDITION REQUIREMENTS

To preserve the integrity of our premium goods, all returned items must meet the following condition requirements — no exceptions:

  • Tags: Must remain fully attached and unremoved
  • Packaging: Original packaging must be intact and undamaged
  • Condition: Item must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
  • Odor: Item must be completely free of any odors, including perfume, cologne, or smoke
  • Seals: No stickers, seals, or security tags removed
  • Cleanliness: No makeup marks, deodorant stains, pulled threads, or any signs of wear

Definition of "Trying" — Fitting Room Standard: We define acceptable handling as the equivalent of a fitting room try-on only — briefly worn indoors, tags fully intact, packaging preserved, and absolutely no signs of use. Any item showing evidence of being worn beyond this standard — including but not limited to odor, makeup marks, deodorant stains, removed tags, damaged packaging, or signs of washing — will be refused upon receipt and returned to the sender at their sole expense, with no refund issued.

  • Return Window: We accept returns within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date.
  • Restocking Fee: A 3% administrative service charge is applied to all eligible returns worldwide (except where prohibited by statute) to cover the cost of our mandatory Return Inspection Protocol — a physical quality assessment conducted upon receipt of every returned item.

II. DOMESTIC (USA) RETURNS

We are pleased to offer streamlined return services for our domestic clients.

Return Window — 30 Days: From the date of confirmed delivery, you have 30 days to decide whether to keep your item or initiate a return. No action is required within this period unless you wish to return.

Return Authorization & 7-Day Shipping Requirement: To initiate a return, contact hello@ourbeautifulworldllc.com to request a Return Authorization. Once approved and a pre-paid shipping label is issued:

  • You must drop off the item with the carrier within 7 days of receiving your shipping label
  • The item must be physically received at our facility within 7 days of return approval
  • Returns not dropped off and received within this 7-day window will be automatically closed and no refund will be issued
  • The pre-paid shipping label will be void and invalid after the 7-day window expires

Evidence Requirement: For all claims related to item condition, quality, or product discrepancy, photographic or video evidence must be submitted to hello@ourbeautifulworldllc.com at the time of the return request. Failure to provide required evidence within 7 days of return authorization will result in automatic closure with no refund issued.

Free Returns: Return shipping is complimentary for USA customers only. A pre-paid shipping label will be provided via email upon return approval.

Refund Processing: Refunds are issued only after the returned item has been physically received and inspected at our facility under our Return Inspection Protocol. No refund will be processed based on claims alone. Items failing to meet the standards in Sections I and VII will be refused and returned to the sender at their expense.


III. INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

While outgoing shipping is complimentary worldwide, international return logistics differ as follows:

  • Client Responsibility: International clients are solely responsible for all return shipping costs and any associated duties, taxes, or customs fees required to deliver the item to our US facility
  • Non-Refundable Duties: Any duties, taxes, or import fees paid on the original order are non-refundable under any circumstances
  • Address: All international returns must be sent to our Returns Processing Center in Hoover, Alabama, USA
  • Trackable Shipping: We strongly require the use of a trackable shipping service. We cannot be held responsible for items lost, delayed, or damaged during international return transit

IV. CUSTOMS, COMPLIANCE & ABANDONED CARGO LIABILITY

Documentation Requirement: For all international orders, customers are responsible for providing valid identification and documentation as required by their local customs authority (e.g., Tax ID, CURP, Government-issued ID, or any other documentation mandated by the destination country's import regulations). Failure to comply with local customs requirements is solely the customer's responsibility.

Abandoned Cargo & Customs Refusal — Strict Liability Clause: In the event that a shipment is abandoned, destroyed, seized, or returned to our facility due to:

  • Customer refusal to provide required customs documentation
  • Customer refusal to pay applicable duties, taxes, or import fees
  • Customer failure to collect the parcel within the carrier's holding period
  • Any other action or inaction by the customer resulting in non-delivery

The customer shall be held fully liable for all resulting costs, including but not limited to: return shipping fees, international freight charges, storage fees, customs clearance costs, and an administrative processing fee of $25 USD. These costs will be deducted in full from any eligible refund amount. If the total costs exceed the refund value, the customer will be invoiced for the outstanding balance. No refund will be issued until all associated costs have been accounted for and settled.


V. DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEMS — ARRIVAL CLAIMS

We stand behind the quality of every item we ship. In the rare event that an item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered, the following protocol applies:

48-Hour Reporting Window: All claims for damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of confirmed delivery by contacting hello@ourbeautifulworldllc.com with the following:

  • Your order number
  • A clear written description of the issue
  • Photographic and/or video evidence clearly showing the damage, defect, or discrepancy

Remedy Options: Upon verification of a valid claim, we will offer one of the following remedies at our discretion:

  • Replacement of the item at no additional cost
  • Store credit for the full item value
  • Full refund upon return of the defective item (return shipping covered by us for USA customers; international customers may be required to cover return shipping)

Important: Claims submitted after the 48-hour window, or without the required photographic/video evidence, will not be eligible for a remedy under this section. This does not affect your statutory rights where applicable by law.


VI. EXCLUSIONS — FINAL SALE ITEMS

For hygiene, safety, and product integrity reasons, the following items are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstances, except where required by applicable statutory law for defective goods:

  • Personal intimate apparel and sleepwear
  • Beauty and skincare products with broken or removed seals
  • Custom-crafted or personalized commissions made to customer specifications

VII. CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS — RETURN INSPECTION PROTOCOL

All returned items undergo a mandatory physical Return Inspection Protocol upon receipt at our facility. To be accepted, items must be returned in their original, pristine condition — exactly as received:

  • ✅ Tags fully attached and unremoved
  • ✅ Original packaging intact and undamaged
  • ✅ Unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
  • ✅ Free of all odors including perfume, cologne, and smoke
  • ✅ All stickers, seals, and security tags intact
  • ✅ No makeup marks, deodorant stains, or signs of wear

Any item that fails the Return Inspection Protocol will be refused and returned to the sender at their sole expense. No refund will be issued for refused items. We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet these standards, regardless of the stated reason for return.


VIII. STATUTORY CONSUMER RIGHTS BY REGION

We respect and honor all applicable statutory consumer rights. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. The following regional rights apply in addition to our standard policy:

United States: This policy complies with applicable US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines. For defective or misdescribed goods, remedies are available as outlined in Section V. Our standard 30-day return window and condition requirements apply to all change-of-mind returns.

European Economic Area (EEA) — Right of Withdrawal: EEA consumers have the statutory right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of the date of physical receipt of goods, without giving any reason, under EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

  • Contact hello@ourbeautifulworldllc.com before the 14-day period expires
  • The item must be returned no later than 14 days after notifying us of withdrawal
  • Refunds include standard outbound delivery costs and will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods
  • We reserve the right to withhold the refund until the item is received and inspected
  • You are responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to assess the item's nature and characteristics
  • EEA customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is confirmed defective
  • The 3% administrative fee is waived for EEA statutory withdrawals only
  • Photographic or video evidence is required for all condition, quality, or discrepancy claims at the time of withdrawal notification

EEA — Conformity of Goods (EU Directive 2019/771): In addition to the 14-day withdrawal right, EEA consumers are entitled to a 2-year statutory guarantee for goods that do not conform to the contract (i.e., are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose). Claims under this guarantee must be reported to hello@ourbeautifulworldllc.com with supporting evidence. This right is separate from and in addition to our standard return policy.

Exemptions (Article 16, Directive 2011/83/EU): The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods for health or hygiene reasons that have been unsealed after delivery — including intimate apparel, sleepwear, and beauty/skincare products — or to custom/personalized items.

United Kingdom — Consumer Rights Act 2015: UK consumers have the right to:

  • 30 days from delivery to reject a faulty item for a full refund
  • After 30 days: one opportunity for repair or replacement of a faulty item
  • After one failed repair or replacement: the right to a price reduction or final refund

These statutory rights apply to faulty, defective, or misdescribed goods only and do not apply to change-of-mind returns, which remain subject to our standard 30-day return window and condition requirements outlined in Sections I and VII.

Australia — Australian Consumer Law (ACL): Under the Australian Consumer Law, consumers are entitled to a remedy for goods that are faulty, unsafe, or not as described. These statutory guarantees cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified. Our Final Sale exclusions and condition requirements apply only to change-of-mind returns and do not override your rights under the ACL for defective goods. For ACL claims, contact hello@ourbeautifulworldllc.com with evidence of the fault or defect.

New Zealand — Consumer Guarantees Act 1993: Under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, consumers have guaranteed rights for goods that are not of acceptable quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described. These rights cannot be excluded by this policy. Our standard return conditions apply to change-of-mind returns only. Canada (including Quebec): This policy is publicly accessible prior to purchase in compliance with applicable Canadian consumer protection requirements, including Quebec's Consumer Protection Act. Canadian consumers retain all rights afforded under applicable provincial and federal consumer protection legislation. Our standard return policy applies to change-of-mind returns. Defective item claims are handled under Section V.


IX. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

  1. Request Approval: Contact hello@ourbeautifulworldllc.com with your order number and reason for return to receive a Return Authorization
  2. Submit Evidence: For condition, quality, or discrepancy claims, submit photographic or video evidence at the time of your request
  3. 7-Day Shipping Deadline: Ship the item within 7 days of receiving your Return Authorization and pre-paid label (USA only). Returns not shipped within this window will be automatically closed with no refund issued
  4. Print Your Label: USA customers — check your email for your pre-paid shipping label and print it out. International customers are responsible for their own return shipping costs
  5. Send Your Item to our Returns Processing Center:
